Welcome to the Official Saathi Night website
Perdes Simplay started off at a small venue in the heart of the city of Birmingham.
The first ever Saathi Night was born on the Friday 13th of July 2001 at The Village, Hurst Street, Birmingham. After months of hard work, and ruthless promotion of the event across the country (the days before social media!), the night attracted a massive response, which lead onto Saathi Night having its own dedicated followers of Bholi Boys & Giddha Girls, who joined us from all over the country. Within only a period of six months, Saathi Night had outgrown its residency, and relocated to its new home. In February 20002 Saathinight relocated to 'COBS', then onto DV8, and now settled in at The Nightingale Club.
Saathi Night has maintained its status as one on the biggest and best club night’s on the Asian Gay circuit today.
Saathi Night is one of most entertaining and friendliest club nights to go too. Playing the best in urban and desi music with a focus on Bollywood and Bhangra and a touch of Garage, R'n'B and Hip Hop. Not forgetting everyone's favourite, what has made Saathi Night.... good old fashioned Boliyan and Giddha!
In October 2002 Saathi Night was invited to play at the launch of '6th Holande Nieuwe' Cosmic Theatre, Amsterdam, Holland. Then in April 2003 Perdes Simplay was the headline at at 'Birmingham - The Party' for Benetton's Colors Magazine launch night at Fabbrica Del Velpore, Milan, Italy.
Perdes Simplay sadly passed away in 2019 but has left a legacy which is continued on in the heart of the country, the city of Birmingham UK, welcoming all to dance the night away.
